In Norway, people are really nice, apparently (figures after receiving all that warmth from Africa). When a friend of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit was in serious need, she went all “I got this, bro” and totally saved the day, by going to India because nothing else is going on, maybe, when you’re royalty in Scandinavia. From Yahoo! News:
Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit secretly traveled to India in order to care for infant twins born to the surrogate mother of a gay palace employee unable to get a travel visa, the palace said on Monday.
Armed with a diplomatic passport that granted her immediate access, the future queen jumped on a plane in late October when the employee, who is also a friend, and his husband were unable to travel to care for their newborns.
Supposedly the staff in India just figured she was just some nanny, because a true princess walks around in pink frilly dresses with a tiara and only the Help would actually rear children, clearly. She was also supposed to be at an official parliamentary dinner, which she ditched, which must’ve been awkward for the royal family.
In other news, Princess Katherine of Great Britain has been struck with a bout of projectile vomit.
